Sanctuary Ananda Cruise – 4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS

Whilst both Bagan and Mandalay are laden with exceptional sites to immerse in, travelers often pay little attention to the exceptional journey that is available between these destinations. Our Sanctuary Ananda River Cruise reveals the natural splendor of this journey as the vessel travels downstream from Bagan, through the heart of Myanmar.

We explore the magnificent stupas and golden pagodas of Bagan, some said to contain a tooth of Buddha, then following a Champagne dinner reception, head to the well-appointed Sanctuary Ananda. With an exectutive chef onboard, dining is a luxurious affair, with the opportunity to take part in a private cooking lesson. We make multiple stops on our journey to interact with local communities and learn about life along the banks of the Ayeyarwady River. From the deck of our boat guests can savor spectacular sunsets and awake to the gentle sounds of the flowing river.
